By using restorationmatchusa.com you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site. In these terms, "we" means RestorationMatch.
What the service is
RestorationMatch is a referral service. We pass your request to an independent restoration company, or to a referral partner acting for one. We are not a restoration company, we do no restoration work, and we are not a party to any agreement between you and a company. Any estimate, contract, schedule, permit or warranty is between you and that company, and the company sets the price.
No endorsement and no promise of a match
We do not license, inspect or insure any restoration company, and a company's receiving your request is not an endorsement of it. We make no promise that a company will contact you, that one serves your address, that you will be offered a particular price or time, or that the work will be done well or at all. Before you agree to work, ask which licenses your state requires and check them, ask for a written scope and estimate, and confirm who pulls any permit and who carries the insurance.
Information on the site
Guides, tools, cost figures, rules and city pages are general information. Cost figures are estimates for planning, not quotes or offers. Laws, claim rules, fees and prices change and differ from one state and city to the next, so a page may be out of date or wrong. Nothing here is legal, insurance, health or safety advice, and nothing here is a decision about whether your policy covers a loss. In an emergency, follow the instructions of the fire department and your utility, and call 911.
What we ask of you
Give accurate information, and send a request only for a property you own, rent or manage and are allowed to order work on. Do not submit someone else's details without their permission, use the site to harass anyone, try to break or overload it, or collect data from it with automated tools.
Other websites
The site links to government, utility and standards-body websites. We do not control them and are not responsible for what they say or do.
Our content
The text, design and data compilations on the site belong to us or to the people who license them to us. You may read the pages, link to them and quote short passages with credit. You may not copy the site in bulk or republish it.
Disclaimers and limits on our liability
The site is provided as it is and as available. To the extent the law allows, we make no warranty about it, and we are not liable for the work, conduct, prices or advice of any restoration company, for damage to your property, for the outcome of any insurance claim, or for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the site. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not let us limit.
Governing law and disputes
We have not yet chosen the governing law for these terms, and we will name it on this page once it is set. If you have a dispute with us, write to support@restorationmatchusa.com first and give us a chance to put it right. If we cannot settle it, it will be brought in the courts of that state, and you and we agree to those courts. A dispute with a restoration company is between you and that company; for a license complaint, use your state's licensing office.
